CLASS CONTENT

Classes feature a healthy mix of traditional training and modern self defence techniques, and include a challenging fitness aspect.

Stance training and combination drilling give students a solid foundation to build upon. The strength of Hung Kuen is in the solidity of the stance. Strong rooting will add to the power of any technique.

Forms practice is also an important part of our training with students learning increasingly complex forms as they progress through their belts. More advanced "five animal" forms are also taught.

Classes include pad work and sparring to help increase strength and stamina, and teach correct timing and distancing from an opponent.

As students progress they will learn various traditional weapons forms, including staff, dagger, sword and others.
